Medical Qualifications
Mr Nigel Shaun Matthews qualified in 1995 from the University of London, with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery degree. He was awarded Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 1999 and was awarded a specialist Fellowship in Oral and Maxillofacial surgery from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 2002.
Medical Experience
Mr Matthews is a Dental Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England and is a Member of the British Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the American Society of Temporomandibular Joint Surgeons, the European Society of Temporomandibular Joint Surgeons and the British Association of Temporomandibular Joint Surgeons.
Mr Matthews is a Surgical Tutor at King’s College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, Project Lead at King’s Telehealth Clinic Initiative and King’s Maxillofacial Out-patient Clinical Lead. He is available for private patients at Parkside Hospital, Wimbledon, London.
Mr Matthews specialises in oral surgery, temporomandibular joint surgery, maxillofacial trauma and jaw/facial deformity (orthognathic) surgery.
