Medical Qualifications
Mr James Crosbie qualified with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery degree and was awarded Licentiate of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ireland in 1996. He completed a Medical Doctorate at Trinity College, Dublin in 2003.
Mr Crosbie was awarded Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons (General Surgery) in 2007.
Medical Experience
Mr Crosbie was awarded the Wilson and Suffern Medal for Character and Industry in 1990 and the Arthur Jacob Open Medical Scholarship in the same year. He is a Senior Lecturer and Honorary Consultant Colorectal Surgeon at University College London and is Chair of the Surgical MMG at University College London and Site Lead for Undergraduate Surgical Teaching at the Bloomsbury Campus. Mr Crosbie is also Surgical Lead for Anal Cancer at University College London Hospital, Faculty of Minimal Access Surgery Unit.
Mr Crosbie treats privately at The Princess Grace Hospital, London in general surgery and specialises in laparoscopic colorectal surgery, Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD), anal and colorectal cancer, colonoscopy, haemorrhoids, anal fissure and anal fistulas.
