Medical Qualifications
Mr Ajeya Raj Adhikari qualified with Master of Orthopaedic Surgery (MS Orth, MCH Orth) and was later awarded Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons, Orthopaedics.
Medical Experience
Mr Adhikari is a Member of the British Orthopaedic Association, the International Cartilage Repair Society, SICOT and the British and International Society for Computer Assisted Orthopaedic Surgery (CAOS). He was the first surgeon in the UK to carry out the robotic and computer-assisted total knee replacement, performing the first surgery in 2002.
Mr Adhikari is a Member of the Medical Council for The South West London, Elective Orthopaedic Centre at Epsom General Hospital, where he also consults. He is Lead Consultant at the Musculoskeletal Centre, Sutton where he specialises in the treatment of the lower limb, in particular knee surgery. He is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at The Lister Hospital, London where he is available for private patients.

Consultation with Mr Adhikari can be organised by referral from your GP/healthcare professional, private consultation for a second opinion and self referrals from abroad, if not in the NHS.
