Dr Rishi Goel is an experienced consultant gastroenterologist, who is based in the UK, but has worked in Australia as well. He qualified at Guy’s, King’s and St Thomas’ Medical Schools, London
He recently took up a consultant’s position at the NHS’s Kingston Hospital, where he holds the title Consultant in Gastroenterology. He is also the lead doctor for the Endoscopy and Inflammatory bowel disease service at the hospital.

With 20 peer-reviewed articles, he has authored many abstracts at international meetings. Dr Goel has also written a textbook chapter for educational purposes.
In terms of research, he was part of the team for a new Crohn’s treatment trial.
