Medical Qualifications
Dr Raj Mallipeddi received his medical degree from Imperial College School of Medicine and completed specialist dermatology training at St John's Institute of Dermatology, London. He was awarded a Doctor of Medicine degree for the study of squamous cell carcinoma in epidermolysis bullosa.
Upon completion of his dermatology training in the UK, he undertook a prestigious procedural dermatology fellowship at UT Southwestern Medical Center, Dallas, USA which provided subspecialist training in Mohs micrographic surgery, laser surgery and cosmetic dermatology.
Medical Experience
Dr Mallipeddi is currently the Director of The Dermatological Surgery and Laser Unit at St John's Institute of Dermatology, St Thomas'Hospital, London, seeing referrals from across the country and supervising the training of dermatologists in all aspects of skin surgery and lasers. He is available to see private patients at the Lister Hospital, London where he is a Consultant Dermatologist and Dermatological Surgeon.
Dr Mallipeddi has completed advanced training in Mohs micrographic surgery, which is certified by The American College of Mohs Surgery and is one of only a small number of dermatologists in the UK who are trained in this technique.
Dr Mallipeddi has a specialist interest in skin cancer, mole checks with dermoscopy, Mohs micrographic surgey, photodynamic therapy, laser surgery and cosmetic dermatology.
