Medical Qualifications
Dr Nicholas Wilkinson qualified from the University of Edinburgh with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery degree. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (UK) and became Member of the Royal College of Physicians in 1996. He completed a Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Edinburgh in 2005.
Medical Experience
Dr Wilkinson was awarded the Kourir Award from the Paediatric Rheumatology European Society (PRES) in 2003 and is currently Executive Board Member of British Society of Paediatric and Adolescent Rheumatology (BSPAR).
Dr Wilkinson is an NHS Consultant Paediatrician and Paediatric Rheumatologist at Oxford University Hospital and is Honorary Clinical Lecturer at Oxford University. He is Named Doctor for Child Safeguarding, Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre, Oxford University Hospital. He treats as a Private Consultant Paediatrician and Paediatric Rheumatologist at The Portland Hospital, London.
He specialises in paediatric rheumatology, chronic pain in children and adolescents, paediatric sports and exercise medicine, and skeletal dysplasia.
