Dr Dalby trained in medicine at St Marys Hospital in London. He continued to work in London undertaking his specialist training and postgraduate degree at The Royal Brompton Hospital. He then spent a year working at the Pitie Salpetriere Hospital in Paris in Interventional Cardiology (coronary stenting) before completing his training and joining the consultant staff of The Royal Brompton & Harefield NHS Foundation Trust in 2005.
Dr Dalby is experienced in managing all aspects of adult heart disease and general cardiology. In addition he specialises in Interventional Cardiology including coronary stenting and Transcatheter Aortic Valve Implantation (TAVI). Dr Dalby has been instrumental in developing the primary angioplasty (emergency heart attack) service at Harefield Hospital which now serves 2 million people and works as part of the London Heart Attack Group. He also has developed and leads the Transcatheter Aortic Valve implantation (TAVI) program at Harefield Hospital.He regularly speaks nationally and internationally at cardiology conferences and works with the European Society of Cardiology to promote improved heart attack care across Europe.
