Medical Qualifications
Dr Michael Webb-Peploe completed his undergraduate medical education at Trinity College Cambridge and St Thomas' Hospital, London. His Postgraduate medical education was conducted in London, Southampton and Rochester, USA.
Medical Experience and Training
Dr Webb-Peploe was appointed as an Honorary Civilian Consultant Cardiologist to the British Army from 1978 to 2000 and was a Consultant Adviser in Cardiology to the Chief Medical Officer, Department of Health. From 1997 to 2000 Dr Webb-Peploe was the Director of Invasive Cardiology at Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospital and is currently an Honorary and an Emeritus Consultant Cardiologist for the cardiothoracic unit at this hospital. He is a member of the Medical Advisory Panel for the UK Civil Aviation Authority. Dr Webb-Peploe has a specialist interest in heart failure, hypertension, interventional cardiology and ischaemic heart disease. He is currently available to see private patients at Cardiac Screen Ltd.
