Medical Qualifications
Dr Jocelyn Brookes qualified in 1986 with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery from the Middlesex Hospital Medical School (University of London) and achieved Membership of the Royal College of Physicians (UK). He undertook training in general and topical medicine as well as neurology at Guy's and St Thomas's and the Royal Free hospitals, London as well as the John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford. Further radiology training was undertaken at University College London Hospital from 1992 - 1997 whereby Dr Brookes was awarded Fellowship of the Royal College of Radiologists.
Medical Experience
Dr Brookes was a Clinical Lecturer at the National Medical Laser Centre from 1995 - 1996; and an Associate Lecturer at the University of the West Indies from 2007 - 2008. He currently treats patients at the University College London Hospital where he became a Consultant Vascular Radiologist in 1998 and at The London Clinic where he became a Consultant in 2001.
He specialises in interventional and endovascular radiology including excimer laser atherectomy, vascular malformations, varicose vein ablation and renal sympathetic denervation.
