Medical Qualifications
Dr Gerald Carr-White gained his honours in medicine from the University of London and qualified from St George’s Hospital in 1993. He trained in general medicine at the Brompton, Hammersmith and St Mary’s hospital and became a member of the Royal College of physicians in 1996. Dr Carr-White completed a PhD at the Brompton Hospital in the mechanics of ventricular function.
Medical Experience and Training
Dr Carr-White conducted his speciality cardiology training at the Brompton Hospital and Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospital. He was appointed a consultant at Guy’s and St Thomas’s NHS Trust in 2005 and currently sees private patients at Cardiac Screen Ltd. He specialises in heart failure and cardiomyopathies, cardiac imaging and valvular heart disease.
