Medical Qualifications
Dr Silber qualified with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery degree from the University of Witwatersrand, South Africa in 1989. Following this he undertook research on the causes of disability in multiple sclerosis (MS) and in 2004 was awarded a Medicine Doctorate (MD) from the University of London for this work.
Medical Experience and Training
Dr Silber has a specialist interest in high altitude medicine, particularly the causes and treatment of high altitude headaches. As a Consultant Neurologist he has also specialised in the treatment of dizziness, headaches, multiple sclerosis, seizures, stroke and tremor.
He is a Fellow of the College of Physicians of South Africa (Neurology) and a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians, UK. Dr Silber treats patients at his NHS practice, King's College London, and his private practice, the London Bridge Hospital.
